Pottery Workshops



Come to Oriyoki, my small and friendly pottery studio in North Shields. First a welcoming coffee/tea and biscuits I will then demonstrate throwing a pot on a potters wheel then it's your turn! You can have lots of tries with one to one tuition and it's great fun.

Break for lunch, bring your own packed lunch, tea and coffee supplied.

We can then use some traditional hand building methods to make coil and pinch pots.

I will fire and glaze your work (choice of colours), all materials, glaze and firing are included in the price. Pop back in to pick up your finished pots.

If you would like to decorate your work yourself with underglaze colours you can book in for a decorating session.

Full day --------------- £50
Half day --------------- £25
Decorating session ----- £12

Time:-

Full day 10am until 5pm (lunch 1pm until 2pm)
Half day either 10am 'til 1pm, 2pm until 5pm and in summer 6pm 'til 9pm
